A key factor in managing data privacy is the ability to control what data is (or is not) being processed by Backstory. Each customer has the right to determine when a Backstory user's data should be removed from the Backstory platform.
GDPR regulations require all "data processors" to afford customers a Right to Erasure (aka "Right to Be Forgotten"). This means you can request user data removal, and we should easily complete this process for you in a timely manner.
If you request user data removal, you can expect to have this completed by Backstory within 3 business days.
How to Request User Data Removal
Your Backstory Administrator can request user data removal via all Support channels:

Example request:
"Hello, Backstory Support. We request that the data for the user (person@example.com) be removed from the Backstory platform. Please confirm when the data removal has been completed."
After receiving your request, Backstory will confirm that it has been received and follow up as soon as possible once deletion is complete.
