The SalesAI Assistant for Salesforce is a new embeddable Salesforce Lightning component that brings People.ai’s SalesAI Assistant directly onto the Home Page or other Lightning pages inside of Salesforce. It leverages the full power of People.ai’s Assistant framework, such as custom “skills” and configuration profile assignments, while adding the flexibility for Admins to define the default filters that are applied to the list of records so that users can quickly find the Accounts and Opportunities that are relevant to them.

As an embeddable Lightning component, it can be dragged and dropped onto any Salesforce Home Page or Lightning page. It installs and updates just like other managed package components, minimizing administrative overhead.

Be aware that, currently, the SalesAI Assistant for Salesforce only supports single-record conversations. As such, it is not intended to be used across records or provide “next best actions” for generic sales tasks.

Configurable and Filterable:

  • Admins can configure default filters (e.g., “My Opportunities,” “Close Date = This Quarter”) to ensure users see their most relevant deals first.

  • Filters can be set globally or by persona, enabling tailored experiences for different teams or roles.

  • Users can further refine or change these filters on the fly if necessary.

Quickly Find Your Deals:

  • Quick toggles that make it easy to move between using the Assistant on your Accounts and Opportunities.

  • Sellers can jump between records without leaving the Home Page, speeding up day-to-day workflows.

How do I enable it?

  • An admin user can install and configure the new package from People.ai, then add the SalesAI Assistant Lightning component to the Salesforce Home Page.

  • Admins will set up default filters (e.g., “My Opportunities,” “Close Date = This Quarter”) for each custom assistant as part of managing their SalesAI deployment.

  • End users, like Sales Managers and Reps, see the SalesAI assistant available on the relevant Lightning Page or Home page, pre-filtered with the list of relevant records that the admin defined.

  • Those end users can then click on questions that have been assigned to them via the custom assistant and easily search for and find the Account or Opportunity on which they want to use SalesAI.

  • The Assistant seamlessly integrates with existing People.ai knowledge prompts and user assignment logic, so users still see their tailored “skills” and reminders.
