We're thrilled to introduce a powerful new feature designed for customers managing complex account hierarchies in Salesforce. This enhancement offers comprehensive activity insights and SalesAI summaries, equipping leaders with crucial data to drive informed planning and strategic revenue decisions.
This feature is available in the new 360 experience for all customers with the Forensics ritual. To utilize the feature, the Parent/Child hierarchy must first be enabled in the Organization Settings.
Once enabled, Parent Account Hierarchy Insights will automatically detect Salesforce parent-child account relationships, supporting up to 5 levels of hierarchy depth.
This feature is made for you if you rely on parent account rollups for your critical sales rituals!
What does it do?
Key features include:
Unified Parent Account360: Gain a holistic view of key activities across all child accounts within a single parent Account360 page.
Visualize Team Effort across the entire hierarchy: Identify where your team invests most of their time across each account hierarchy level in a simple hierarchy visualization.
SalesAI Account Summaries: Receive concise summaries of key topics, next steps, and potential risks across numerous child accounts.
SalesAI Assistant Queries: Utilize the SalesAI assistant to ask critical questions and access insights spanning the entire child account universe.
Engagement Metrics and Engaged People:
Metrics will include information from the child accounts and are summed to showcase the aggregated parent value for each metric, with real-time calculation when the toggle is activated.
When the user clicks on the metric and opens the activity feed, all activities from child accounts are shown with clear indicators of the source account and chronological ordering.
The engaged people component includes all participants from all activities and accounts included in the parent/child aggregation, with filtering capabilities to narrow by specific child account or engagement type.
For customers with very large hierarchies, pagination helps maintain performance while providing complete visibility.
Account Hierarchy Visualization:
The interactive tree visualization displays the entire account structure with the ability to expand/collapse branches.
Each node will show key engagement metrics, color-coded to quickly identify high and low engagement areas.
Users can click directly on any node to view that specific account's details while maintaining its hierarchical context.
SalesAI:
Summaries will include key details from the child accounts in the aggregated summary, prioritizing critical information based on recency, sentiment analysis, and topic relevance
SalesAI assistant will access underlying Account data to respond to users' questions, including CRM fields, activity history, and engagement metrics from all accounts in the hierarchy.
All content generated by SalesAI includes source attribution, identifying which specific child account each insight originated from
Things to Consider
If an account belongs to multiple parents via different relationship paths, it will show on each Account 360 page. However, People.ai will only count it as one account for the metric.
Enabling this feature will not alter the existing boards or tables you've configured elsewhere in the application.
The Parent Account Hierarchy currently does not allow excluding certain accounts.
