Interpreting KPIs and quantitative data fields often requires knowledge of how the metrics are built and filtered, and some statistical knowledge. SalesAI Signals addresses this by providing digestible insights and offering straightforward, actionable intelligence extracted from our extensive data platform.

SalesAI Signals leverages our rich revenue story data from emails and meeting transcripts to extract unique signals and insights not previously possible with existing EDB metrics.

What are SalesAI Signals?

Utilizing a SalesAI custom agent skill, SalesAI Signals define and generate insights in bulk, integrating seamlessly as metrics across Engagement Dashboards. This process harnesses the power of People.ai’s data foundation, capturing critical details from emails, meeting transcripts, and other interactions that traditional sales metrics overlook.

Each insight is not just a static piece of information but includes a "drill-in" capability, offering deeper context, explanations, and rationales for each metric presented. This interactive layer allows users to explore and understand the "why" behind each insight.

Administrators have the flexibility to configure and adjust insights and their contexts, ensuring the insights are aligned with organizational goals and needs.

How does it work?

SalesAI Signals operates by utilizing a custom agent skill within the SalesAI platform to define and generate insights. Here's a breakdown of its functionality:

Insight Generation and Integration:

  • Signals are defined through a SalesAI custom agent skill and generated in bulk by the SalesAI agent.

  • These insights are then created as metrics within Engagement Dashboards, integrating seamlessly with existing tools.

  • The insights are updated on a recurring schedule, ensuring that users always have access to the latest intelligence, with a specific cadence to be determined upon configuration.

Functionality and Usage:

  • Signals function similarly to string-based metrics, allowing users to sort, filter, group, and create visual tiles using these new insights in Boards.

  • Each insight will be displayed as a string value within a cell in a table.

  • A "drill-in" experience is available, where the SalesAI agent is prompted upon click of a cell that provides additional context, explanations, rationale, and details for each insight.

Configuration and Customization:

  • An admin can configure and adjust the signals and their additional contextual information through the SalesAI configurable agent interface. This customization ensures that the insights align with specific business needs and objectives.

  • Signals are generated based on a customer's existing set of Accounts/Opportunities configured for SalesAI.

Things to consider

  • People.ai will have multiple out-of-the-box SalesAI signals available, and custom-configured ones will be available in a future release.

  • SalesAI is required to get SalesAI Signals in Engagement Dashboards.

  • SalesAI Signals are available for Account and Opportunity objects. They're not currently available for the Team object.
